Tijuanna J Arnett

My passion is sports, as well as helping others. For many years, helping young children or young adults succeed at goals they've set for themselves, has inspired me to now pursue a career as an agent. I’ve been a foster parent for 17 years , helping kids pursue their dream and guiding them in sports. The youth is my why.

I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and raised here until relocating at age 11 to Arlington, Texas. In Arlington, I became interested in sports, specifically my love for basketball was cultivated. This love for basketball, led me to begin playing organized sports, AAU. My love didn't stop there, post high school, I was awarded a scholarship, to TCU. I am thankful for that experience, for basketball was taking me further than I could have imagined. While there, I also excelled at volleyball and even track. Though grateful for my time at TCU, I transferred to Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I continued to play sports. Also, I picked up an interest in cheerleading, going further with that new interest I pursed a career as a professional. I was even a finalist for the Dallas Cowboys Cheer Squad. 

Post college, though my time participating in sports ended, my passion for sport coaching was born. I became a mother and have 3 beautiful, children. Activities came quickly with having my children, and I am still very active in coaching today. Coaching my two sons and daughters; in various sports including basketball, track, cheer, volleyball, gave me great fulfillment. Currently, my daughter is a collegiate student athlete pursing her career in track for the University of Kentucky. 

I’m an currently an AR Manager for Heartland Dental, I’ve been in Dentistry for 25 years. This has afforded me the ability to take care of my family. 

But now it is time to switch lanes!

My experience with various organizations with my children opened my eyes to another lane for which I can be of service to the youth. My passion for sports, professional experience, with coaching and organization such as Olympics and USATF Jr, allows my experience coaching, training children and organization-I’ve house kids from all over to live with me to train for track and field and professional track runners.
